Anonymous asked: Hi, I was just wondering on your opinion on the new Canon 1Dx. Do you think it's worth it. I only have a T2i. I was thinking of upgrading to the 1Dx but then at $6,800, that's way out of reach. So I was debating on weather I should just wait for that or just get a 5D Mark II. I plan on becoming a pro photographer/cinematographer in the future. What do you think is better? And 5D is being replaced soon. What do you think is best for me to do, wait for 1Dx or Mark III, or just settle with 5D. THNX
If you really feel like you’re gonna be boss in the future like doing movies and stuff. By all means go get it…and if you’re a rich lol. But gear isn’t everything…I’ve seen people pull off unbelievable stuff with the t2i alone. Like I said, gear is cool, but it wont make you a better photographer/videographer. Try and make some money off your t2i first…just to see if you have what it takes. I’m upgrading to a 5dmark2 pretty soon and the mark3 will probably be the same just with minor upgrades. hope this helps.
